Burger King - California Whopper
The California Whopper includes guacamole, bacon, swiss cheese, and mayo. It is a new sandwich from Burger King.
... " I dont know how long you've been buying fast food hamburgers, but wrapping sandwichez n paper usually doez this ... BK / McD'z / Wendy'z ... all the same ... Az far az the (2) tomatoez go, timez are hard ... Gotta conserve ... Even tomatoez ... "
I had the same experience today — I saw the photo of the "California Whopper," and it looked so good that I ordered one. In the photo, the burger appeared to be a thick, juicy, nicely cooked real burger. The lettuce looked like unwilted leafy romaine. The tomatoes looked bright red and juicy. The guacamole looked fresh and appeared to be a generous portion. The sandwich looked about 4 inches tall.
The real sandwich was about 1.5 inches tall, with yellowish, tasteless tomatoes and wilted iceburg lettuce. The burger looked like the standard processed thin whopper patty. The guacamole & bacon were in there, but not so visible. It tasted like…an expensive whopper.
I can't wait to see this comparison. With their new approach, who knows, maybe it'll be right on the money.
ReplyDeleteFlah Ha! Why so flat and blah?
ReplyDeleteThe bun looks much better than in the other Burger King photos you have on the site.

I thought about trying this but now I'm glad I didn't.
